Timothy Burger has a political site that deals with both national and Kansas policy, as well as several other subjects. He has a great head for finance, and in my opinion, gives a great, if somewhat different perspective on some issues that you'll see here in the future.

Essentially, I don't fit into any one group. My professional group, at least where I am, is a bunch of guys who drive fullsize trucks with KC lights and lift kits, while in Kansas City it's Porsche owners. I try to balance the down to earth aspects of living in a semi-rural area with the more cosmopolitan aspects of my upscale clients, so that I can interact with both groups effectively. I'm kind of a chameleon in that respect- not really without base morals or values- but able to adapt to a myriad of situations. But, if I must be nailed down, I like the label of “intellectual”. It's distinguished enough to get people to pay attention, yet detestable enough to make them hate me.
